Project Load

Project Cargo

This type of service refers to the handling of oversized and heavy cargo, so delivery involves planning an optimal route, as well as reviewing special transport conditions, whether handled as break bulk (loose cargo), which is shipped as loose pieces in a special space on the ship, or in special open top and/or flat rack containers, which require different handling from conventional cargo. These are usually associated with industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects, such as:

  • Heavy machinery.
  • Industrial plant components.
  • Power generation equipment (such as turbines or transformers).
  • Large metal structures.
  • Materials for large construction projects (bridges, refineries, etc.).

Characteristics of project cargo:

  1. Oversized or overweight: Does not fit in standard containers.
  2. Requires special permits: For land, sea, or air transport.
  3. Detailed logistics planning: Includes route studies, coordination with authorities, and use of specialized equipment.
  4. Specialized handling: Cranes, platforms, modular vehicles, etc.
  5. High economic and strategic value: Their timely delivery is critical to the progress of a project.
